Antique wooden barrel butter churn
Antique wooden barrel butter churn. Looks like it might have been re stained. I don't know anything about the history or the churn itself. The paddles look really good and the churn works well. Note the repair in the picture. I've owned this for 20 years and it has been in storage for most of that time. Dimensions are 16x15x12 the capacity is quite large but I have not tested it to see how much it actually holds. There are no markings that I can see which leads Me to believe it was re varnished. Please feel free to ask for more pictures and whatever questions You may have. This May be a lightning churn?
