Vintage Marshall Pottery hand-turned 5 gallon butter churn, with lid, in pale grayish tan with cobalt blue. Measures about 16-1/2" high and 10-1/2" in diameter, and weighs over 20 pounds. The lid measures just over 7-1/2 in diameter. Very good condition, with no chips or cracks.
Has minimal surface wear and a handful of production imperfections. It does not have the wood churn/paddle. The lid matches in color, but I think it might be from a smaller (3 or 4 gallon Marshall churn), because it seems to be about a 1/2 too small to fully cover the opening if churning. It does cover the top when just displaying, but seems too small if actively churning. You will receive the item in the photos.
