This is a Dazey #40 butter churn that has been in my family since it was made in the 1920s. My father, now 80 yrs old, remembers using it when he was a boy on the family farm in Dalton, MO pop.
It's a great piece with clear, unmarred glass and with a wonderful patina to the metal. Functionally, it still works perfectly.
I'm not sure if it's important, but it does have the numbers "3" and "562" that are on the bottom of the glass. It would make a very nice addition to any collection. The item "DAZEY BUTTER CHURN, NO.
