We are very pleased to be able to offer this Rare and Unusual Butter Churn in Original Blue Green Paint. This is an early wooden barrel churn, circa 1840 from Pennsylvania. The original paint is an incredibly beautiful, a wonderful Blue Green with incredible patina. Great care and attention to detail were given in making this churn over 175 years ago. The crank and hardware are hand forged Iron. This has a round opening with a beautifully hand forged latch to hold the opening in place, detailed hand forged hook to lock it. Iron bands hold the wooden staves tightly in place, 3 original, one replaced but still old.

Inside are original wooden paddles that rotate when cranked. This is on a wooden stand.

This measures 22" tall x 14" in diameter x 22 wide overall. This early wooden Butter Churn in a rare form and beautiful Original Blue Green Paint will be a wonderful addition to your collection!
