For sale is this very nice antique primitive hand crank wooden barrel butter churn. It measures approximately 17" tall with a barrel diameter of 15" and a drum width of approximately 11 1/8. We find it to be in excellent condition for the age. The wood has a beautiful mix of blonde and auburn tones.

The crank works very well and the paddles inside are in great shape. Some small nicks in the wood, mainly around the edges, can be seen but these are minor.

It appears as if the knob on the lid and possibly the bands for the barrel may have been replaced to restore this piece. All other hardware appears to be original. This is certainly one of the better examples.
