Very nice antique Dazey Butter Churn, number 60, Patented February 14th 1922 and manufactured by DAZEY CHURN & MFG. The metal lid houses the Dazey crank frame creating the handle and housing the gears. It has the word DAZEY imprinted at the top of the frame, a daisy flower near the center gear/crank area and the # 60B on the frame and # 60H on the handle bar. It has a nice patina to the top. It is missing the removable whey screen and a plastic cover fills the void.(last photo) The inside paddle is made of wood and attached by a metal stem. It is in good condition with no breaks or cracks.
The glass is in very nice condition: no chips or cracks. Overall the churn is 15" tall and 7" wide. A wonderful piece of American history to give or keep.
